May buy a VX how to check for oil issue?

The one I am interested in is at a dealer. Is there anyway to check on the oil burn/eating to determine how bad it is? My last VX was using about a quart a month.

Yay, I think I found the questionnaire as well.

No way to know until you put some miles on it. Just accept its gonna burn oil just like your last one I know it isn't what you wanted to hear, but there really is no way to know unless the owner tells you.

This one here down in the Springs. I think the price may be a little high but the dealer used to be Isuzu so they probably know what they have. And 4x4 in CO tend to fetch a premium despite being a rare VX.

This one as well, less expensive, less miles. but I'm pretty sure this has been listed for years, the pictures look really familiar. I think it may be the "oh we just sold that but come take a look at what else we have to offer" car.

Yeah, that one has been listed for at least 6 months and the snow in the pictures is from last spring. Must be pretty bad...

That's why I'm thinking it's not real. I swear I remember seeing it three years ago. It always seems to be on auto trader, craiglist, etc.

Well, I'm officially in the market so I'm going to be more active and stringent in looking. Anyone have an opinion on the one in the Springs?
