Could we all agree to post nothing more in reply, other than ...
I think it would be a fun social experiment to see what type of spin, blather, & pontification could be conjured... in reply to a sphere...with a face that smiles...and agrees...![]()

UMMM, nope.
I wouldn't have kept the discussion going if I didn't think that you might provide some valuable information.
There is the one question that you continue to dance around rather than answer because you know that it completely undermines the position you've taken. That question is: how does venting to the atmosphere differ from venting to the combustion chamber in regard to oil consumption? I can guarantee that you can search this thread top to bottom and back again & not be able to find your response to that question.
Actually only once ... & doesn't the fact that I can admit my errors when proven wrong indicate that it is you rather than me that is keeping this cess pool of a discussion in motion?
I have to hand it to you. I've never met anyone like you before who is so prolific at consuming facts and spewing defication.

Put a smiley after you say that Bub.
Running a bottle of SeaFoam in the crank case now & I'll change the oil tomorrow. We'll see if that helps in decreasing oil consumption. It's been a few tanks of gas since I've had to add any oil but prior to that it was up-n-down in a very mysterious manner.
Wow.
I ran a can of SeaFoam in the crank for a week & then changed the oil last weekend. It consumed a quart of oil this week. That was less than 500 miles.
