I spent 1&1/2 hrs yesterday searching through a radiator book at the auto parts store. My rig had a gm radiator in it. I installed a new one & a overflow tank today. It works great! So I can drive it farther, with out running out of radiator fluid.![]()

Oh man, that's just wrong! Are you going to keep it like that?
Sent from my "two hands on a keyboard"
Yes, the rear will only get minimal provements. I need to cut the U-bolts down, so they don't hang down so far. I have to run some different emergency brake cables, they we're cut off. It also needs two hoses joined back up on the front of the gas tank. Anybody know where they go? Help!!I can't get the pic out of my gallery. I even uploaded it again. My guess is they go to a plastic expansion tank some where.
I assume those may be the fuel return lines, so around the intake you may see some other cut hoses as well...? Or perhaps, near the engine, the return was just looped back in to the supply line somehow...? It is even possible this engine did not come with a fuel return line so the lines from the tank were disregarded.
I really hate the design of those shackle hangers! At the very least, I would make a brace of some sort to join them. Or preferably flip the shackles...? Not trying to get in your face; just ideas cuz I wouldn't trust them.
For the record, I love this thing, it just needs some serious porn star love.![]()

Zeus thanks for for your concern & input. The tank is my first project that needs fixed. I have a engine light on at the dash. The code comes back evap leak. Well I spotted this before I gave any money. This is it! I can't get real licence tags till I fix it. It also dumps fuel on the ground when I get gas. I thought it might have had a expansion tank that got eliminated when they dropped the tank to weld on the rear springs. So I will spend some time under it this weekend. The shackle hangers do needed more attention. But not till spring. Winter set in already and my garage is packed tight. I can pull one bronco out and back in vx to do a little work . But the other bronco needs to spend the winter in there. I need to post a pic of the 3rd bronco. It is very rare and special rig.
