I had a good luck with finding shippers on this site: http://www.transportreviews.com/. My understanding is that some of these companies are brokers, so read the reviews carefully.

Thanks for the tip. I actually found this site already and got some automated quotes...it would be cheaper for me to fly out, miss work, pay for gas and drive back lol.
Twist my arm!
BTW I am looking at a 2010 40th Anniversary Edition Nissan 370Z with only 20k miles. It's cherry. I want!
No doubt it's cheaper to fly one way and drive the car back then to pay for shipping, especially in an enclosed track. Plus you get to inspect the car and the trip could be fun - if time allows. Good luck with the Z!
Hiya Tom
I'm working with a guy called DREW...
..at Auto Star Transport right now.
He's getting prices to ship Cyrks VX to me from Roswell..
...and seems pretty reasonable...so far!

I am giving him lots of latitude on time..and it will be an open transporter..
..but he's probably worth a shot for your needs.
Maybe he'd do a deal if we both book?
Cheers

The only problem with flying out & driving it back is that you'll need to work something out with the seller to either have the deal close upon your arrival home (& use his tags & insurance for the drive home) or FedEx you the title before you depart so you can get it registered and insured for the drive home. Either option has risk.

Put a smiley after you say that Bub.
I highly recommend D.A.S. (Dependable Auto Shippers). They have company outlets/stations across the entire USA. I had my VX shipped across the country for only $800 USD, and without a scratch. Check-out their website on the internet.
BTW, it's much cheaper to ship a vehicle rather than pay for a plane ticket, motels/hotels, food, wasted vacation time, loss of missing work hours, plus your new vehicle might break-down on the drive back home ($$$). The added-up costs can get really expensive!!! Ship it instead.
One last note-- If you buy any vehicle long distance, make damn sure you use www.Escrow.com as the monetary conduit to conduct the transaction. Escrow.com will give you a 3-day Inspection Period to have a certified mechanic in your hometown to check-out the vehicle and then you can decide to either Accept or Reject the purchase (just pay return shipping, but you won't get stuck with a lemon). C.Y.A.!!!

Hi, also if you have AAA you can go with the sellar and title to any AAA office with your own insurance for the VX and they will issue temporary tags that I believe are good for 20 days so you can drive home. I think its a $75, fee for this service as long as you are a AAA member.
