I would also wonder at the longevity. How will it hold up to rain, mud, wind and so on? How long does it last? Will it hold up under heat under the hood? I was thinking about the phone, does plugging in the charger and head phone wear the product off of the electrical surfaces? I assume it is conductive as well.
Awesome stuff though, how long before Columbia is marketing it on rain coats, back packs, tents and so on?

Mebbe they should include a bottle with every Jeep sold ... to control the slobber stains on their shirts when they see a VX pass them on the trail.

Wow, sounds to good to be true,... and after reading a bunch of reviews, Geeks.com, amazon reviews, and others, it is to good to be true. It leaves a white, flaky coating, it rubs off and flakes off, one hole in the coating and water will penetrate and lift the whole coating.
Think I have better things to spend 20 bucks on
