Billy, don't think that I haven't already thought about it. If I was THAT mechanically inclined I would be doing a lot more work on the VX. Actually I don't think that it would be all that difficult to rebuild the engine, but I will need to send it somewhere to make sure that the cylinders are still round and haven't been ovaled (yeah, it's a word
) out. I'll also have to either get new heads or have mine re-built since one of the valves is burned. Also need to drill the drain back holes in the pistons (or get new pistons) to make sure that the engine doesn't burn oil if it ever gets installed in another Zu.
Maybe that will be my winter project....
