    Good lord, thanks to all that replied. I feel much much better about what I've gotten myself into and I'm so glad you are all optimistic for me. I've been driving to PT in the morning(military) and it was just destroying my chi. A special thanks to those mechanic responses up there, ill be reading intensely tonight. As far as those bad engine noises go I'd like to shoot some video or audio of it and see what the consensus is.

    Hmmm, the 3.2 DOHC sounds fine, my wife's was running on 5 cylinders for the last two years, had a off canter chug to it, but not terribly noisy. Now that its fixed, no more funny sounds, except the squealing belt from the AC bearing going bad...but that is a whole separate issue

    Our head nuts shake loose often, try new lock nuts to replace old nuts.

    My head nuts have been loose for years, just ask my wife.

    Also the head nutts? The ones that hold on the head? Like head gasket? Ill try and find those. Can someone tell me where the transmission and engine mounts are or a reference for those. Thnx
