Like the Harley comments that were made earlier. The thing that people have seen over and over again is that Harley owners are mid life crisis men who have plenty of money and want to play tough. I have known plenty that are great guys and just like to ride for the sake of riding.
Another way to view it is that stereotypes get created by the people who display the stereotypes.

It doesn't seem like anyone here is coming right out and making an all-encompassing generalization, only that in this day and age of the over-commercialization of...well, let's be honest here...EVERYTHING...there are simply more ego-based wannabes who have tried to buy their personalities than there are individuals who made their purchase just for the fun of it.
