Reminded why I don't like Jeepers

Apparently, being a jack-a-lope faced piece of garbage is a jeep thing...

....you wouldn't understand.

I've wheeled a VX

I've wheeled a Samurai

I've wheeled a full sized Dodge Pickup

I've never wheeled a Jeep ... but think it would be a blast to have an old CJ.


I don't think that you become AR when you buy a Jeep or that AR people feel constrained to buy a Jeep. It's just like any group of people, the more vocal/AR/cranial-deficient seem to rise to the most public view. It's human nature. I've known some really great Jeepers (all 3 of my brothers own or have owned Jeeps).

Unfortunately, the bottom line is that if you want to participate in a 4WD club in your area, you'll probably have to hang around and take the abuse of those few for a while until you find the 'click' that you want to hang with.

Think about it ... do you want to join to sit on the hood of your ride, drinking beer, and shouting insults to strangers ... or do you want to find those select few who like turning wrenches with friends (regarless of vehicle) and go play in the mud. Those two groups rarely have the same cast of characters.
