IIRC most people who experience random engine cut out find that it ends up being water trapped in the spark plug well(s). Since you started experiencing it more after the rebuild, maybe check all of your coil packs & clean the wells out real good & check the plugs at the same time. This may not be your problem but it's a cheap (0$) thing to try before tearing into it any further.
