    New treads

Hello friends I'm looking for advice. I have 913 coils, rancho 9000's, with 275/70 R16 AR Teflon coated Wheels, so I'm sitting right at 3" lifted from factory.
I need new tires! I want an A/T tire because most of my driving is boring blacktop I am looking at nitto terra grapplers because I have a set on my 2004 duramax and love em'.
So this brings me to my dilemma.
    Current geolanders are:
    Width 10.8"
    Diameter 31.1"
    Sidewall 7.6"
I have 1.5" clearance at the front cladding for turning with these tires so I don't want to get to much closer.
    Nitto doesn't make a 275 so it's 265 or 285......
    I'm looking to go with 265/75 R16
    Width 10.75"
    Diameter 31.5"
    Sidewall 7.8"
    Or 285/75 R16
    Width 11.3"
    Diameter 32.6"
    Sidewall 8.4"
The main reason I like nitto is the squared look and the experience with the tire.
I will also look at your recommendations.
Here is a pic of my VX, knowing the tire size can you give your opinion on which size I should get? Thanks!!!!
Wow this is a long read!

There are a few of us here that have treadwrights and love them. You can also google and find really nothing but great reviews on them elsewhere online.

I have a set on my VX and absolutely swear by them as the best A/T available on the market today.

+1 on the General Grabber AT2's. Aggressive look and nice ride on tarmac. I ordered mine from Walmart of all places for $165 ea. 265 70r16s fit nicely on stock rims (1999) no lift and no cladding trimming required.

Picked up a set of Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor's last spring and they've been great so far. Good at Moab, good in the sand, good on the snow. Reviews, specs, warranty on TireRack are very similar between this tire and the Grabber AT2's mentioned above. I went with the Goodyear's because a friend who works at a tire shop mentioned he'd seen several Grabber's come back with sidewall issues. Probably just a rare defect, certainly can't remember anyone here reporting it. But since I was about to go crawling around in Moab on the FRONT END of a 5,000 mile summer road trip with the family, I was not inclined to take chances (no matter how remote).

    Thanks for the info!

I can get bfg km2's but for a better deal I can get cooper stt $100 less for a set.
Anyone have or know about the stt?

OKC, click here to see my Astral on 913s and torsion bar crank atop Nitto Terra Grapps at 285. I LOVE these tires, not taking anything from the other recommendations here. They ride very well, and easily got me through all the rain from Sandy and the 30" of snow we got a couple weeks back.

Had to do some trimming to the cladding. Nothing I wouldn't gladly do again.

    Thanks for all the inputs!

I went with a wild card here.... The specs and reviews were within most other tires and I liked the look.
