Split CV Boots

Surprising. I put Dorman boots on my rodeo when I first bought it about 7 years ago and they are still doing fine.

....after my OEM set split just after lifting ( normal!) I fitted Dorman...
....and 6 years later have only replaced one...cause I tore it on a rock.

I think these split boots are good emergency options...but then so is Duct tape!!

+2, Ripped my OEM boots after initial lift. Replaced with mecatech right before Moab 2009 and ripped both inner boots the first day and dust/sand destroyed my CVs.

Now I run EMPI brand boots and straighter half shafts. No CV problems in 2 years.
