Yep, spun that sucker 180 for a cleaner look. No more cable hanging out under the dash. Can't remember 100%, but had to shave a couple of tabs off of the plastic plug to get it to fit in the metal bracket. It still "clicks" in so it isn't going anywhere.

No biometric lock mechanism, but do have ideas for a retinal scanner (OK, not really).
