Reactivating this thread because I need the same answer as the last post.
Can the compressor's clutch/pulley be removed with the compressor still mounted to the engine?
If not, do I HAVE to remove the lines, or am I just screwed all the way around and have to pull the compressor completely out?

It's probably easier to install rather than find. Tons of them are on ebay but they will list just any part with any car to make the sale.

Hmmm, I pulled mine out of the wheel well, no problems or special tools needed. It was tight, but it fit, didn't even take the wheel off, and mine definitely came off of an 02 trooper. It was a tiny bit longer(fore to aft), but no problems with fit.
