There were some pics from the first visit...
...not sure who took them, I checked my pics..I didnt!
Suffice to say..its UGLY.
Lots of square tube bracing and MacGyver -isms !
Its an exterior 'concept'...and kind of thrown together where the sun dont shine!
I'm sure when originally exhibited they NEVER opened up the back for viewing

P.S. - Cece (and with all due respect if you're reading this too Gil), your sister is h-h-h-ot. Next time you speak with your parents feel free to relay my compliments to the chefs.![]()

Glad everyone came out. Wish more did, but we had a good turnout still. Was happy to meet some of you for the first time including Steve Jennes and Scott Hyde....former Isuzu guys...and Scott being the coverboy for the VX-O2 on the In Roads magazine. Dope. I can't believe it took almost 1 year of working with the Petersen to get this set up. I'll email you guys the coordinator I worked with's info and maybe you can all give her a thank you and shoot her one of your fav pics with you and the VX-O2. Might make it easier for a future visit. Funny thing, on my way home, I saw an Ironman on the 10 fwy and it she had no idea of the meet. What a waste.
Call me a geek, or maybe even nerd, but face the facts, we da ones be rulin' this world!
I can't help it, I've become fixated on the side-view mirrors on the VX-02. I'm wondering if they were custom made, or whether they're simply a take-off from another vehicle and paint-matched to suit.
I personally just think that the stock VX Isuzu-ish side mirrors date the overall look of the VX much more than necessary, especially when that could have easily been remedied with the simple addition of VX-02 aero-type mirrors.
So thank you all for the pictures and video. Now I at least have some more visual references to work with for finding some possible custom mirrors.
wow, how stange, that's the second thing I DIDN"T notice on the VX-02 (first being the front fender marker lights)! I never even noticed they were different..how's tha possible, when I could tell you a multitude of very extreme details like how many texture bumps are in one square inch of cladding
Guess it was just too much adrenaline and havin' fun wid da gang!
but hey, I DID notice it was a convertible!
Those mirrors are super sharp!
Oh Jasoncan you whip up one as a model on your CNC jr machine?

Remember that life is not measured in the breaths you take, but rather in the moments that take your breath away.
The side mirrors were taken from a 2000 dodge neon I think. So don't be that impressed.Chif and Steve from Isuzu told me.
I posted my pics from the Petersen Meet

Cool, thanks for the info. I'd already found a few mirrors on Ebay that looked to have a very similar shape to the mounting section, but it's always difficult to tell if it would be a simple bolt on or whether further modification would be required. Either way, I can't help but be impressed with how much better the Neon mirrors make the VX look compared to the stock side-mirror/air-brakes. (I'm guessing 5 mpg better mileage with the simple addition of some aero mirrors.)![]()
Is that a center console with cup holders?
Congrats to Baldwin and the gang that made this outing a success. Also, kudos to ITAL Designs for creating such a celebrated concept car. It makes us all dream a little bit larger and really appreciate the special trucks we all own. The VX-02 was truly on that "Mission to Mars" imagination-wise! Hats off to that movie-star car!
