    Torsion Bars

I put my new rims and tires on a couple of days ago ( 31" good year mtr's on mb motoring 15" wheels) I am not sure what the offset on the wheels is but the tires stick out about 2" and I had to do a fair amount of trimming and a little tweaking with a pry bar. So yesterday a cranked my torsion bars to get a little more clearance and my question is did you get both sides exactly even cause I am off almost a quarter of an inch from side to side. Thanks Guys, Joe

It is possible for the torsion bars to be cranked the same amount and not lift the vehicle the same amount on either side. You need to level the vehicle out, lower or raise a side. I had the same result when I cranked my torsion bars. This is not uncommon. Make sure the street, road, driveway you are measuring from is level as well.
