    Hypertherm powermax 30

To go with my new lincoln 140, the wife gave me the go ahead to get a new plasma cutter. Its about to get real in the garage I went with the powermax 30 after seeing a demo at my local weld shop. That thing is bada$$. They cut 1/4" plate on 115v like nothing, and had no problems severing 3/8" at 115v. Not as clean, but it was serviceable with just a little cleanup with a grinder. They then did the same cuts using 220v. The 1/4" looked the same and the 3/8 looked as good! No grinder needed. They severed 1/2" plate at 220v, worked like a champ. I can't wait! Now I can do the bumper right, curves, whatever I want. It also only weighs 20lbs, and I got the "building America" edition with the carry bag and accessories. I also got a new compressor, one of the dewault 200lb models, so a 4.5gallon tank acts like a much larger compressor, and it is fast! Not much left to get, just an air dryer, and I should be able to start building. Gonna build the tent trailer first, then the bumper.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Yep, no matter figuring angles and cutting and rewelding. Now I can just cut whatever shape I want!! Also, no more cutting wheels.

I know, I could actually use one to finish the SFIFS kits centerlink but I need a new welder first. Not to mention they're very spendy.

Anyways, i'll be excited to see the new bumper.
