Alternator replcement?

First, I hope I spelled that correctly,

Has anyone replaced their alternator at 47,000 miles?

I'm wondering if I have a full warranty coverage...would that be covered?

I was told that I need a new one and that it's sucking juice from the battery.

I believe it should be under the 10/100 warranty, but read your paperwork. Better armed when dealing with the dealer! Otherwise check this out: 180 Amp Upgrade

It's a great mod and only needs a bit of tweaking for the VX.
