Thank you KAT for helping me figure out how to post pics
Looks like it makes your VX a shape-shifter.
at night its amazing (in the city lights)
I'm sure it is, just wishing there were less blurry pics so we can appreciate it more. What wrap did you use? I heard 3M was discontinuing the Di-Noc stuff that PNW used.
i will take better pictures this weekend. i scratched the camera on my iphone. i used the 3m. i decided to do the wrap in order to keep the original porton yellow intacts.
maybe i am missing something? is the entire vehicle wrapped in vinyl tape?
At least the body if not the cladding. Notice you can still see the Proton on the door jams.
yes except the cladding... just something different i tried out
im gonna do touchups after the temps here in el paso go down
Didn't mean that previous comment to be critical, just pointing out how you can tell it's the same VX. Do you think it's possible to do the door jams with wrap or do you think you'll have to paint them black or gray? Seems like wrap could be difficult to apply well around the hinges and locks.
I would love to see some better pictures. Very cool idea getting the whole thing wrapped in CF.
Oh I understood. Wrap would be to hard. I'm actually going to see how plack plasti dip works out. That stuff looks like it will do the job
Is this the 3m DiNoc stuff? I've got a sheet of it in the garage waiting to go on the hood insert, but I'm wondering if I need to do something with the cracks, first.
looks cool i would really like to see more pics - there are a lot of trucks here in town that have the bottom half done in camo and i had always wondered if it was possible to do an entire vehicle - doesnt seem cheap though - you said you did it so you could go back to proton someday, so i have to ask how hard do you think it would be to take that stuff back off? seems like you would need a couple gallons of some type of paint safe goo gone
