Sweet!!! I have a TON of photos that I have taken over the years of all my pets and just general awesomeness that I see around. The pics are taken by my camera phone, but they turn out pretty well. Thing is, is that they're all on my FB page. I also have a public photobucket account that I will be uploading my favorite pics to. You guys can check it out if you want

    Y'all wit yer fancy cameras...

My old camera does things those fancy ones don't... stereo slides!!

I inherited this a couple decades ago, and have used it a few times. I think it still has film in it from the 80's. Not sure if there is still a place to get 35mm stereo slides developed?

I used to be quite the camera buff. Bought a lot of gear (Canon EF) in Japan while stationed in WestPac. But everything was stolen while transferring to Spain, and I was a newlywed with a daughter on the way, so I bought an 8mm movie camera with the little insurance money I got. Never got back into photography.

    Love the stereoscopic...

Here are some snaps from the last few months...

I bought this cacti @ a rummage sale, the nxt day it popped this flower...meant to be!
Best 3 bucks I've ever spent.

I'm currently in love with my Sony a-55. I chose the Sony line of dslr since they acquired Minolta's camera technology, & all my old 35mm glass would work, though not at the same focal length.

Since the latest firmware update, all sorts of new in camera capabilities have been keeping me entertained...

    Here's my flickr for more...enjoy.

And some stuff in the bucket

Thanks I was super into reptiles when I wasn't able to have a dog at my place. Now that I have the dog, I don't have any reptiles anymore. They were really awesome though. My only fret was if the power went out. It happened once, and I almost lost my Boa Constrictor. Freaked me out. It's cold up in the PNW!!!

I really like your pic of the graffiti wall, btw

Dub...those are some great shots. You may have a new career in your future. You have a great eye. Maybe frame a few of those and hit up the local street fair!

Nice shots Bart, I love b&w...& yes, I remember vividly getting my pics back from the drug store...usually an envelope full of disappointment...

I LOVE the instant feedback/ability to correct shots of the digital realm...+ the ability to just "fire away", without regard to processing costs...

Its shot on a Nikkor DX 18-200 Zoom on a Nikon D300.

Appature priority..to control depth of field, and isolate B/fly.

Talking of B&W..I well remember dodging and burning with all sorts
of home made do-dads in the dark room.

Now I just push buttons and slide scales..

I shot all my pics with slide film (got that from my grandpa), so I have boxes and boxes of slides, and no way to view them. I suppose I could send them to a service and have them digitized, but I never will. I have some really nice shots from Japan and Korea in those boxes.

Cobra, you can easily scan those in yourself. I bought a really nice Canon scanner off NewEgg a couple years ago and it came with a slide and negative scanner. Not too expensive either, under $200 iirc. That is what you need. And it works GREAT. This is pretty much what I have, only newer:

And Dub, while digital is awesome, no question, for many, many reasons, I still think Black & White looks best when shot with real film (I admit though, those trees up there I posted are digital). Also, I think somehow digital has cheapened photography, at least for me. I realized after switching to digital like 10 years ago, that I lost touch with some of my real photography skills. That is why I wanted to take a step back and shoot some real film again.

I will be bringing about 6-10 rolls of Ilford B&W with me to Japan. Can't wait!

Here's a pic of my new (old) rig. I love it. Works with some of my other Nikkor lenses also. Got a sweet deal on eBay.
