Keep in mind all the nasty stuff will settle to the bottom of the pan because it is heavy with metal particles, that's why the residual drippings are clean and pink, the heavy sediment has already settled to the bottom. You really need to drop the pan again and change the filter along with the fluid one more time, but not until you have confirmed the tranny is still serviceable. Once you have cycled the transmission through all its gears and flushed the rest of the gunk through the filter, that's the time to treat it to a new filter and fluid change, then you stand a chance of having a trans that may serve you for a few more thousand miles.
