I've always been of the opinion that with our seats, there is usually NO need to recover them; the leather is super thick, strong and durable (has anyone looked at the leather in most new cars these days? Like tissue paper!). Our seat leather is very reminiscent of my former 1988 Porsche 911. My plan is to use the process below (that I bookmarked many years ago off of the fine "Pelican" website) when the time comes to resurrect my own seats.
