    1870 trans slipping code. Crap

Well was cruising out to 29 palms and coming hard over the hills. Lights start flashing and my butt puckers. Pull over, check trans fluid and it is still full. Temp was fine so reset the code and am going to think it over. Maybe some Lucas trans fixer would keep disaster at bay.

Mine has been coming on for the last 3 years. Usually on highway trips. I just reset and go. Tranny still shifts and functions great.

Keep in mind that sensors don't always tell the truth, as they age they can sometimes tell little white lies. If all seems well by seat-of-the-pants, don't get too overly concerned, just keep an eye on things and an ear tuned, it may just be nothing. Good luck and do keep us posted!
