    ME?

Mine is still my "daily" driver, though I don't do much driving anymore. But, that doesn't mean it doesn't get to do some work now and then...

    Look at post 28.

If you can't see your reflection in the rear pumpkin - your VX isn't being maintained to rickshaw's exacting standards.
Eh, its not as difficult as it might seem. I even used the same wax he did.

    Rickshaw's for comparison:

OK, OK, guess it's finally time to come clean....
Hi, my name is VX KAT and I'm a VX-aholic....I'm powerless when it comes to all things VX....

Last year I started the "rickshaw" undercarriage project......I even got some info and tips from him.
I thought with the Kilby skids covering a good percentage of it, I'd be able to do everything else.
If this doesn't convince you that we're truly a deeply disturbed bunch I don't know what will.....er.... um...maybe I should only speak for myself .

I believe this falls under the category of "having way too much time on your hands"....

I spent many hours on it....but alas, finally realized I was NEVER going to come close to Gene's perfection.....so I threw in the towel...

But I did get some parts really nice and clean.....
Never quite got the pumpkin so you could see my reflection....but I got it pretty shiny
I used Collinite Insulator wax on everything.

    .

And even after a full YEAR, my pumpkin and gas tank are still lookin' good!
Big thumbs up for the Insulator Wax...heavy duty and long lasting!

I use mine as a dd and vineyard truck. I personally think it's the perfect vehicle for working in the vineyards. Can carry more than an atv and has a/c but it is smaller than a truck and can get into all those small places that a full size can't. Plus none of the winemakers know what the hell it is so I get to talk about it alot.

Nope. Still running the Tone Clone. It's a little tweeked though. I bent it upward when I was trying to pull the plum tree back upright (too much torque from my drop hitch). I used my Mr. Scary Hook to pull the stump & it worked much better.

I hope to install the upgraded hitch on Friday when I remove the old door & install the one from your original VX. Door is painted & ready to go.

My Vx is used...or not used...as a garage queen...

I really have to say, however, that although I never had a room mate or house mate (other than my Beloved One), I think the only person on planet earth that I would ever be able to co-habitate with is Rickshaw...and I thought I was the only one that anal-retentive/Obsessive-compulsive! Luv ya, Bro...

I use mine only as a daily driver.
I only got my Vehicross for it's looks and rarity as I can't bring myself to drive a mundane looking everyday car that you see 10 of on the road side by side.

Mine will never go offroad and will be babied as long as I own it.

Rode my bicycle to work everyday last week. The VX is shined up and enjoyable for my eyes sitting in the garage. Had a beer this evening out there and had a supreme feeling of satisfaction with owning it. Good stuff.

I use mine to dream up projects, spend a bunch of money on the supplies, and then procrastinate getting them done. It's complicated. But it looks so awesome in my mind's eye all finished!

    Some day...

EDIT: And oh yeah, daily driver too.

Yup V, I've got that same problem x10. Everywhere I walk around here I see tons of projects that will look so nice when they are done. The VX is on a looong list. It's an enjoyable problem to have though...
