    Rear end chirp.

It's a medium sound and I hear it best when I am turning and when there are bumps. Sounds like suspension, but I am not sure. I just replaced the front whee bearings and all that noise went away, so now I am hearing all the others.

Any thoughts on where I might start?

Could be the sway bar bushings squeaking. Do you have the greasable bushings?

Yep. Sway bar bushings/mounts. Buy some spray silicone with a long nozzel, and stick it in the mount and spray away those sounds, do front and back.

Noises are tough, & sometimes aren't coming from the area you think.

Put a few wraps of duct tape around the loop that engages the hood latch, latch the hood, then take it for a test drive.

It's an easy test, & could be the culprit.

Since "chirp" was in the title, it makes me thinks hood latch, suspension usually sounds like a squeak to me.

Wink Am I the only one with a 13 yr. old's mind?

    Sounds like gas to me...
    Beano works well.

    LOL

Seriously though... I have that same squeak. Annoying and embarrassing. Here I go driving around my residential area, cool exhaust note at 2500 RPM, go around a bend... hit a bump and SQUEAK SQUEAK!

Since I resemble that remark so closely, I would answer: NO...

I agree with others that noises can be hard to locate. Are you 100% sure it's coming from outside? My back seat chirped over bumps (went away when I folded/rolled it forward) and now an interior body panel in the back chirps (fastener has slipped out of the hole and it's rubbing against the sheet metal like a needle on a record.)

    Wink

    That's awesome! LOL

I just giggle when reading the current thread titles:

    Thumping while going uphill...
Rear end noise when coming to a stop...
    Rear end chirp...

    Wait.... trying to grow up...

    Darn. Failed.

I'm trying to track down my own trapped little birdy chirp!
I'll start with the hood latch and diagnose from there.
Mechanic said he couldn't hear it, but he also had the air con and radio on...duh.
    Thanks for the tip Ldub!
