Route #2 is a good run...I've done that one before...If you had time you could detour along Rampart Range road but it will slow you down quite a bit...

I'm going to try and make it to Denny's from Castle Rock, but I can't get to the Springs without some serious candy and flower expense for my beautiful bride...

I was going to try and meet you guys at Denny's but my VX windows are broken x3 and the doors are still apart, I have 3 issues with both of them and will not have it fixed by morning, so I will catch you guys another time.
