Dust to Glory for sure. And Road Warrior. And anything with Steve McQueen and wheels!

Anything with Steve McQueen would then have to include Bullit and LeMans...and of course the motorcycle chase in The Great Escape...

Exactly. And don't forget that other Bruce Brown film. McQueen was in On Any Sunday.

Just watch American Graffiti. Sums up most of the goodness.

And my absolute fav, from Bad Boys (though they kill it, crash dummy and all)....

And of course, the bike in Akira

Any movie where the car/actors look designed like the inevitable toy to come. Really the one piece bright red jump suit same color as the motorcycle? How Doushie

Sorry, that was a 440 Challenger R/T! I went to see that with my mother in 1971. (I even got to see the nekkid bits.) I had my learners permit at the time, and my Mom let me drive home, and even do a small burn out in our slant-six Plymouth Duster!

That was my second choice of favorite car movies. Number ONE is still "Christine"!! It still gives me chills when I watch it.

We don't need no steeeenkin' pictures!!!

I had a '75 Plymouth Duster and I can tell you from experience... the burnout didn't happen. I used to get smoked off the line by little old ladies in Ford Pintos.. routinely. I'm so ashamed.

    Talking

Kinda surprised that no one has mentioned Cannonball Run...

Burt, Farrah, Adrienne, Roger, Dom, Mel, & a host of others, including Jackie Chan, PLUS...IMO, the star of the whole show...

Jack Elam, as the obviously insane proctologist - a doctor specializing in diseases of the rectum and anus...

    ALWAYS makes me laugh...
