Not to be all fact-checkee, but this is a bit of overstatement. It's not "under the Patriot Act" but rather part of a list of characteristics that US LEA and intel orgs use as a sort of profile of suspicious activity. The stocking of food is one of several activities, when combined with others, that might be worth considering suspicious. Now I believe our security organizations such as HLS and TSA are overreaching, reactionary, and thuggish, and that any number of our policies supposedly designed for the evil terrorists are in fact abusive to citizens, and ought to be unconstitutional, but I still recognize that that "7 days of food" thing is not accurate. I think you might have successfully trolled me, heh.
considered is if you have ever been in the military. According to the troll Pelosi
"Take it up with my butt, cuz he's the only one that gives a crap"
Carter Pewterschmidt
I'm not sure what Pelosi has to do with it, unless that's just your preferred shorthand for liberals. Did she say something along these lines, or are you perhaps thinking of Janet Napolitano? The actual sources of the gross overeach and classification categories that put tens of thousands of US citizens into the supposed warning categories come from Homeland Security (Remember the report leaked in 2009 called "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment") and within the last couple of months from the FBI and Justice Departments when they released 25 fliers aimed at 25 different fields of work, giving personnel in those areas specific warning signs to look for. Again, these were pretty freaking ridiculous, and only serve to highlight the absurdity of our panic-stricken, pants-wetting, Orwellian "if you see something say something" mentality.
