owned a wry for over 6 years before i bought my vx. Great car! rode it hard. I would highly not recommend lowering it. Maybe just tighten up the suspension with upgraded parts. I unfortunately lowered mine and took much away from it. I t did look good though.

Swift gives slightly less than a 1" drop (7/8's I believe). Will do no harm to your stock struts. Something like Cobb springs "looks" good, but is damaging over time because their have an aggressive drop.

Sways depends on what sort of ride you want. I personally recommend and use Whitelines, but I love a very stiff, responsive ride. Apron rumbling at 70mph+ is a piece of cake. Adjustable and tubular mm will determine what sort of ride/performance you get out of them.

Definitely check on that downpipe. I don't know of a Borla downpipe that was ever made, but maybe I am mistaken. I am running a catted hi-flow Cobb downpipe to a Borla catback that is just phenomenal. Just be sure that the previous owner didn't slap a Borla catback on the OEM downpipe and use a CEL delete in his map to just close out CELs that would be visible from stg2 on a OEM DP. Gotta be vigilant when buying a used, modded car.

Thanks wormgod, They guy i bought it from said he was not into racing or anything thing like that. He told me he used it for winter driving when it snowed or rained hard, he was a big time motorcycle guy, even when i bought it from him he was at his bike store. But anyways, he said he had it for 1 year till he figured that he really didn't care for a car as much so he wanted to sell it. He was the second owner and the first, who he bought it from was a late 30's women. So I'm not to worried about being riced up and dragged like a rag doll. Thats why i bought this one. The tint, the front fog lights, the headlights, the pink emblem and wrx decal, the mud flaps, and the rack was my add ons. So other then the hp increase/add ons, you can see that it was pretty much stock to the bone. I bought it with 80K for $9K. You think that was a good deal, or average?

That is a good deal actually. The WRX wagons are a well sought after model along the mid atlantic and that price doubles here. People just never bought in to the hatchbacks. The most sought after being the earleir model Forester FXT Sport and the even more elusive Forester FXT STi. THOSE are HOT. I just missed a deal an '07 last month in N.VA, but I was in no position to finance $22k for it.
