The OEM KYB's are something kinda special in the shock world, they're the first remote reservoir shocks EVER to come standard on any vehicle.
Being a long time MX rider/fanatic, I have great appreciation for the technology involved in the original stiffness of the stock VX.
Suffice to say, the stock VX cornered HARD, some have said in the past, that it cornered comparably with sports cars that were only 2/3'rds it's weight, which is pretty respectable for a 4k# suv...
That's not only due to stiff dampers, it also has a lot to do with pretty substantial sway bars.
Thas my opinion, & I've got an extra set I'm gonna have rebuilt some day.
Oh...BTW...if they're still available, they're 0ver $400.buckz a pop from Isuzu...![]()
