VX Air Box Shared with Trooper or Rodeo?

Meaning the airbox and beyond. It never seems to be a clean switch when a Trooper long block is mated to the VX. The VX apparatus has to go on top.

I only remember that as an issue when Ianironman transplanted a DI lump out of an Axiom...the direct injection was controlled by different parameters within the Ax CPU (also, the drive by wire).

He changed out the intake manifold, so that there were no issues...

Plz advise if you have info that I'm not seeing...
