So I sent the measurements and more pics and this was the response:

"Sorry but at this time I would not have anything that would completely
replace your carpet retainers (plastic pieces) as well as provide a sill for
you. I would suggest getting on Alibaba.com, creating an account and typing
in sill plates or door sills. I found hundreds on there myself and I'm sure
one of the styles would work."

So I did this and he was right. Basically what needs to be done is to search this site for a manufacturer that makes one that will either fit ours or find a manufacturer that makes one close enough and have them modify it. The only problem is that to make this work it seems that many of these manufacturers wants an order of 50 or more to manufacture.

That will never happen in the Isuzu world especially with the high price tag. I wonder if we can make something ourselves

In the mean time, during my BS time I will continue to search for someone on that website he gave me...

I really think illuminated door sills would really really be cool
