6 yrs as a Mac owner, I'm used to Safari being wayyyyy in the minority and not that supported.....when I went Apple, I went all the way.....
I had so many problems with malware, spyware and other crapola repeatedly on my PC, despite having all the "recommended" safeguards, that I went this way to drastically reduced my odds of having those problems again. In fact, haven't had any problems to date with that type stuff.
So, the negative about Safari is there are still many apps that don't support it because it's only a 5% market, yet, the positive is that hackers aren't as interested in it for the very same reason.
I do use Firefox when I have to, but prefer Safari. I routinely have 30-40 windows open at the same time, so I'm really using my new quad processor! It does slow down and get a bit hinky when I have too many in history, so I have to clean that out and reboot....and I'm cookin' again.![]()
Did I mention I'm a bit Type A?![]()
