I've opted for a fast "plug and play"solution, installed today in 2 hous these Bully matte black sidesteps, it matches the cladding and the car as a whole, very happy with the final result and won't be messing wish brackets and adapting anything, Australia is a very lonely place to be when the matter is a VX...
Functional because my kids use to go to the backseat, don't need anything longer than that.

any updates to share on fabrication or reproduction of brackets for bars? Thanks in advance for leading the charge here...

Not yet, but I believe we're pretty close at this point. Expect to see a "definitive" thread similar to the one for the safari bars before too long.
