I actually read it and there is wiggle room. Loss of engine oil does seem to be a reason for denying coverage, but if oil is checked frequently and topped off then it should hold. Give the small number of Isuzu engines and the likely probability that most engine failures fall outside their warranty, it seems to me that if someone is religious about changing their oil and can document it Valvoline would rather pay the $5,000 than have the bad publicity.

How much extra would it cost to use Valvoline, if you're going to change your oil and filter every 3500 miles or so anyway?
