I waited, I really did. Unfortunately I needed something in a hurry having spent several weeks failing to cure a misfire on my runabout Golf. The gods saw fit to show me a Jeep Grand Cherokee at my weakest moment and not being able to uget to work on public transport I caved in and bought it.

As an aside, if anyone wants a Mk3 Golf GTi all new ignition, air and fuel bits let me know. Personally I'd torch the b*stard thing but then I just spent several hundred pounds and a couple of months on it

If I stripped off the parts I'd fitted trying to trace this misfire, sold them and let you keep all the insurance money we'd both get about the same

Never mind paul, sell the bits on ebay,worked for me as the vx ended last night. Got the grand sum of £3650 for her, me thinks someone had a right deal,will be sad to see her go but now i can finsh my vw t4 and have more fun with the family next year...
