It's YOURS - paint it whatever damned color you think you can live with! My only advice is to IMAGINE waking up and looking at whatever color you paint it EVERY DAY for as long as you THINK you're gonna own it; make sure that you don't think you're gonna wake up one day and say: "What the hell was *I* thinking?!"

A big advantage that you have with the black is that the areas that you CAN see from inside the vehicle (under the e-brake handle, for example) are BLACK, so by just doing the jambs and removing all the cladding, you'll have it pretty much covered. When I think about a color change on my Proton Yellow to something else, I realize that for ME, that means the ENTIRE disassembly of the vehicle, so unless I win the Powerball, it ain't gonna happen!
