Hahahha - I bought my eldest daughter a 4 door version of that when she started uni.
It went forever and got about 45 mpg.
She still had it when uni finished, so it went trouble free for at least 4 years.

Then got a bad bunch of fuel with water in it.
The servo bought the car off her. They thought that was cheaper than trying to repair it.

I saw one in the orangish color at a hot rod show this spring. The owner wasn't around and to be honest it was a sweet looking mean looking car. I was dumbfounded a bit and even suspected that someone badged it as an Isuzu. I took a picture of it I think but can't seem to find it.

The guy wrote back. He has more than one of those cars. His "baby" has 495K miles, the one for sale has 270Kish miles. I wish I wasn't moving in two weeks, and Irene wasn't heading directly for me....I would seriously go look at it.

They are pretty fugly, however, the diesels in these cars are said to last 300k with no issues, and they get like 50mpg. I would LOVE to buy the one on eBay right now. If it wasn't for Linda I would have an Isuzu junkyard at my house already. So its good that she keeps me in check.
