Odly familiar. I heard rumors one of the designers for the VX moved over to Nissan.

Simon cox if i am not mistaken is the guy you are talking about
But one thing for sure....looks WAY much better then the nissan joke.............i mean........juke
Dakar was just the begining.
x2 Gussie. You were right the first time-- it's called the Nissan "Joke" or the Nissan "Puke" (either is correct).
The hottest looking 40 MPG gas-mizer coming out this Summer 2011 is the awesome all new Hyundai - "VELOSTER" (3-door coupe). Check-out the Veloster's rear tail-lights-- they look just like the VX's headlights.

My car also has a turbo, but that doesn't make either of them fast![]()
Exactly. And I could deploy it from the bed of my F250...push a button and away I go!
I like both cars...for what they are. The leaf would be great for an around town/errand car...and it looks1000x nicer than a prius (although the 2 new vehicle being added to the prius lineup are a huge improvement in looks). The juke just looks like a fun little car and in real life has a bit of wcs rally look to it. But neither are meant to be a speed demon...they are what they are.![]()

I didn't like the Juke at first, but it's growing on me. I'm still not a big fan of the side view but I definitely like the front end.
Once I saw a black one, it reminded me of a movie I really like:
Maybe it's because the front is so bulbous, the hood so featureless and the headlights (eyes) are in the "wrong" place.
When I saw one in person, I was surprised those clear turn signal covers on the hood stick up so high. It may be even slightly weirder than "headlight horns" (which I appreciate) and looks like something that should be on a dinosaur (which I appreciate.)
I think the Juke is awesome. Great little runabout, affordable, decent gas mileage, and interesting styling in an otherwise derivative new car market. Its not meant to be a VX, but it is cool for what it is.
Im thinking how nice it would be to not pay $80.00 to drive round trip to my land. 140 miles one way...I get a whopping 14mpg which means---10 gallons x $4.00 gallon =40 bucks, round trip 80 bucks. Why why why didn't they give the VX better gas mileage! $4.00 to drive 14 miles, that's sad. So yes, I like both of those vehicles. They look cool...but I'm not a conformist so I'll stick with the VX and wish I could afford to drive it.
