I actually like the cheap "ricer" clamp on pedals that I've been getting. The ones I get have the holes punched through from the back so they have good ridges to keep your feet from slipping. Great in snow and mud, just dont try to drive without shoes. Got them at one of the local big box parts stores.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check that out. As long as they look nice I'm not snobby enough to turn them down just because they're off the shelf from Advance / AutoZone / PepBoys.
