Heat on passenger side floorboard

Catalytic converter resides in that area=hot!

noticed that on mine too. took my soes off for a snooze and burnt my little toes soooo has anyone found a fix? mabe someone changed the placement of the cat?

the tranny area does heat up as well, so this bottle laying on the tranny housing gets warm after a while. Surprisingly, my feet never hit this thing, it's completely out of the way.
It would be really cool to find a place to permanantly mount this metal holder somewhere AWAY from the heat…that vertical tab is at least 5-6" long ….any ideas?

You could always heat wrap the converter. Some here have done that because it was considered possible that the excess heat may have been negatively affecting the transmission mode selector switch on the drivers' side of the transmission in that same area.

I personally used a kit along these lines.
