I eat Vegetarians! I hunt to eat not for sport. Nothing like providing fresh meat with no chemicals to family. You cant eat antlers. Hunting is in my blood. I just enjoy and respect the great outdoors.
I always take life with a grain of salt. Plus mashed potatoes and gravy!

And that's all good! I'm with ya! I've eaten venison and pheasant, and LOVE fishing and eating trout.

Here's an example of what I don't like:

    1) "OMG, there's a rattlesnake!!!" BLAM!

    2) "He dude, lets go out and shoot us some coyotes"

    3) "RABBIT! Its coming right for us!" BLAM!

Its the needlessness of some of it. I understand, you have a venomous snake in your yard, most folks get out a spade. But why kill it? Relocate it instead.

And unless you have a chicken coupe, I really don't understand the "varmint" thing...coyotes and rabbits are part of the ecosystem, just like rattlesnakes. People are the ones making a mess, not them.

Anyway, fishing season is about to start for me!

Good idea on relocating snakes. Just chuck the venomous snake on your neighbors front porch; ring their doorbell, and vacate. Then grab your video camera and let the fun begin!!!

When it comes to fishing on my boat-- I just use C4 explosive with a waterproof fuse tied to a rock. Then just use a net to scoop up the big ones. No pole, no bait, no wait. Sure; the eyes are bugged-out, but the meat is still good.

Uh Oh Allow me to get my Wyoming on... For the most part, I have only shot that which was to be eaten. ...However, I have blasted apart some prairie dog towns. Not debating either... I apply very little thought to the legs of larger animals that could be broken by excessive prairie dog holes in grazing lands. The natural predators of the prairie have been mostly run off; the black-footed ferret was even believed to be extinct. Prairie dogs though have been left alone to thrive in large and expanding numbers. Ranchers and their friends aim to protect their stock... however... I mainly found it to be fun practice in order to take on big game.

I have a 3/4 curl, big horn sheep hanging in my living room and "the first kill" (antelope antlers) in the coat closet... my dad though has a "lovely room of death"... ok, two rooms.

A Menace skull would be cool but I just couldn't do that to him...

You have to keep varmints and predators in check. I love having animals on walls. I like nature scenes compared to just head mounts. Good job on the ram. I have a couple full curls from Alaska. Best hunt ever been on and best eating..
