    Keyless Entry Horn

My horn no longer beeps when locking and unlocking the doors, is there away to program it (did I press buttons on accident), or is the horn dead?
    Thanks!

Ours died recently after working fine for 3 years. It's a small unit called a "sirene" and it cost us $200 installed. It wasn't under warranty because they said it had water and mud in it from my offroading. Oh well, 2 bills isn't too bad, I probably should have replaced it myself.

If it's original equipment, the "speaker" in a little round, black plastic "cap"looking thing with a hole in the top. Should be on the driver's side fender in the P/S pump reservior area. Mine was wrapper in a thin strip of grey colored foam. It doesn't look like much but it put out a lot of sound. You could have water, mud or other garbage in it. If you find that it is the speaker, I think mine is still on th fender. I could cut it off of the harness and send it to ya, I have an aftermarket system now.

Seems to me it might be a simple constant tone, piezo horn. Under 20 bucks at electronics store or radio shack.

I just installed my remote start security system on my '01 today... I unplugged my factory piezo beeper/horn but it is still under my hood... it is available just as Moncha's is... and as SGT.BATGUANO said, it is just a simply constant tone piezo beeper... can be bought at radio shack or other electronics type stores... not expensive. Mine little beeper isn't monotone. When its cold outside, it has a different sound to it. Sometimes when I'm unlocking the car it will use both. Sounds really bad :P
