    looks great jo. They look identical to the ones i built on the Runner, except with some 'prettier' welds

    I am running into the issue now that they have been on there for about a year and i am getting some rust on he upper side thats right near the body of the car, now i cant remove them to touch them up. Im going to have to come up with a way to get them off.....OR, even better yet, a 3" body lift would help me access them

    Mmmmmm...i dunno, I think you guys are over think'n it...

    All ya need to do is...

    Reach on up there with some sand paper or a sanding block/sponge dealio, brush on some rust converter or primer, brush on some bed liner or undercoating/rust bullet...DONE!

    It don't have ta look purdy, we're not tAk'n it to the fair...

    ...paint stick wrapped in sandpaper gets "up & in there", and a sanding sponge works well as Dub says.

    And hey, if I make 'em look prettier than me, they'll still be UGLY!

    dubski, if you can efficiently sand mine, i would be a very very impressed guy. they are just about touching the body...

    Plus, if not, this gives me a reason for the 3" body lift and 35's to make sure that i can get in there to paint them
