I was wondering if green tech might possibly be why we here in the mountain states are lagging behind the rest of the country in fuel prices. Hybrid tech has been pretty popular, here. The second question I always get with the VX is "is that a hybrid?" There's a Tesla showroom in Boulder. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory has a number of locations in the state including a big wind farm. Some of those wind turbines are built right here by Vestas. On top of that, we're pretty tight with our bikes, and have led the way with that socialist program of bike sharing, B-CycleOriginally Posted by Mile High VX
Maybe... just maybe our pioneering of green tech is paying us dividends.
On the other hand, it MIGHT just be that Colorado is near refineries in Wyoming. and generally uses lower fuel grades (premium is 91 proof, 82/85/91).
