LOL, I knew the story was bogus right from the start for 2 reasons:

Actually, GM sold almost all its shares with Isuzu back around 2006, and when they did, thats when Isuzu started bailing out of the US, before the economy hit the fan. And Toyota did buy some stocks with Isuzu back in 2006, they bought 5.9% of the stocks. In result, they do plan on building in the future together. Also Mitsubishi owns 7.2% of Isuzu stocks. At the end, it comes down to who wants to have a part of Isuzu, just because of their legendary Diesel engines. I hate to brake the news guys, but our lovely Isuzu likes to get around, and we know through history, it has always like to flirt with many companies.
