    A beautiful spring snow storm

The calendar says spring, but winter is still hanging on strong. We got a real nice storm last night with 8" of snow and maybe a little bit more coming. This is that wet snow that sticks to the trees and looks gorgeous. We love it! I just went out for a few minutes to get some photos. The temp is right about freezing with no wind, so we get the beauty of winter without the harsh conditions.

Did anyone else in the northeast get snow?

Yes, another storm out there today. We were expecting a heavy accumulation, but it's just a little too warm to pile up on the roads. Higher elevations and interior sections of New England are getting pounded again.

That's actually a neat little beaver dam in the last pic.

Doesn't anyone else have some photos or stories from these spring snow storms in the northeast?

I awoke this morning to snow covering the grass and cars, again! I wanted to go flyfishing today, but with the water temps still in the upper 30's, I said forget it.

We have spring penciled in to make it's 2011 debut this weekend. I just hope it stays for a while. I have eighteen days off starting 4/19.

We had about an inch this morning up here in the inland northwest, but instead of rolling my baby VX out in it and taking awesome photos like you guys, I rolled over and went back to sleep, lol. Thursdays are no school days for meow
