What's the View from your work

Thought it might be a fun exercise to see what the environment's like for everyone where they work.

I work from home when I'm not traveling and this is the view from my office:

The near feature is how Castle Rock got it's name and the distant mountain is Pikes Peak.

Hey I've been there (Castle Rock and Pikes Peak)! Very cool!

When I'm working from home this is my view (minus the VX's of course ):

Unfortunately my real office view is of a parking lot, but hey, that's better than I had for the first 8 years of my career when I worked out of various computer labs and converted storage spaces.

This was yesterday's view of my backyard...4" in Dewey. But I don't work , so it's my everyday view.

Here's the "normal" view from the front.

Looks cool, but why would you want to stare at a sweaty guy all day?

I'm usually watching the "moving pictures" on the tv, but when I go to the kitchen, I get this....

I'm with this guy and the crap view, except mine is currently at night. Even worse! Can't see what or who is crawling around in the parking lot!

But we share a trump card in the fact we live in Florida! I haven't had to run my heater more than a week or two this winter, and already taken my kayak to the water while it was still February. So take that, scenic mountain view jerks!

    wormgod-
I would HATE having that view... i would want to leave work all day, like everyone else in the world, then dread it, just by looking out the window... what a terrible limbo to be stuck in all day- sit at work and be miserable, or sit in traffic and be miserable.

Tis the curse of living in the Fed's Watering Hole. It's one thing to have a large government.... it's another thing to HAVE THEM ALL WORK IN THE SAME SMALL AREA! Jeez, spread them thin. I hear there's a lot of room in the Midwest...

My "office" view changes from day to day.

    Last week it was...
    Friday rode here

    Thursday
    (not me in vid)
Rode this a few times (in the opposite direction)

    Saturday rode

    Sunday ran

Thur, Fri and Sat of last week

The list could go on and on!

    Boring, boring, boring.

No window, fluorescent lights, beige walls. Sometimes for a change of pace I remove the push pin from the wall (the gray speck in the middle). Sometimes I move it over a few inches or add 2 pins. I wish I had a window.

If I did have a window, I'd either have a great view of the wall of a neighboring building or the parking lot. Aren't you glad you asked?
