Excellent. Thank you again for the advice. I am going to check the thread that you had mentioned etlsport. I have to find this. I think you are right with the grounding though the turn signal. I also have been told that this could be the result of a bad "clock spring" in the column. At this point I'm ready to check just about anything, but not sure about the spring only because the stalks are below the rotation of the steering wheel. So, I'm back on the hunt! and will keep you posted.
