The best way I've found on preventing flying rock chips (front clip & windhield) is not to tailgate the vehicle in front of me (especially big-rigs), by having a big cushion of following space. This driving method always keeps my VX looking sharp and also gives me additional reaction time in case I need to brake suddenly or make an evasive manuever to prevent an accident.

All excellent ideas that every driver should heed, but you're really only slowing down what is ultimately an inevitable process. If you drive a vehicle at 65 MPH in anything other than a clean room you're going to eventually develop scratches, chips, etc.

It's not for me either, but it looks professionally done and great for what it is. I wonder, has anyone ever done the 3M ClearBra on their VX? Thinking about doing that sometime...

P.S. This really is one of my favorite pics on the site. The "nose job," the lighting, and the conditions all intimate mean/tough. Nice job!
